Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (“Agreement”) govern the services provided by Paul Dry Cleaners (“Company”) to its customers (“Customer”). By using any of the Company’s services, the Customer agrees to comply with and accept the following terms and conditions:

1. Article Handling:

  • All garments/linen/fabrics are handled with utmost care. However, due to the condition of articles or non-apparent/non-visible defects, there is a POSSIBILITY OF DISCOLORATION OR SHRINKAGE. Such garments are accepted for cleaning at the OWNER’S RISK, and the Company will not accept any responsibility for it.

2. Quality Assurance:

  • The company will make reasonable efforts to maintain a high level of quality in its washing, drying, and folding services.

3. Care Labels:

  • The company does not read manufacturer-suggested care and washing/drying labels due to time constraints. Therefore, it will not be responsible for garments labeled “hand wash only” or “dry clean only.”

4. Special Care Items:

  • The company accepts no liability for “special care” and delicate items that require special attention during cleaning.

5. Color Transfer:

  • The company accepts no liability for items where loose color, especially when the color of one part of the garment transfers to another part.

6. Article Storage:

  • The company is not responsible for any articles left beyond 30 days. After this period, any discounts applied at the time of pickup will be removed, and a storage fee will be charged at a rate of 12% per month on the total invoice amount. Articles not claimed within three months will be handled appropriately by the Company and sold to recover the billed charges.

7. Right to Refuse Service:

  • The company reserves the right to refuse to clean any garment.

8. Stain Removal:

  • While stain removal is a part of the cleaning process, complete removal of stains cannot be guaranteed and is processed at the customer’s risk.

9. Personal Items:

  • The company is not responsible for the loss of or damage to any personal or non-cleanable items left in the article, such as money, jewelry, or any other belongings.

10. Customer Responsibility: – If the customer cannot accept the loss of any garment, it should not be left with the Company.

11. Loss or Damage Compensation: – In case of loss or damage, the Company can reimburse up to a maximum of three (3) times the processing cost (laundry/dry cleaning) if the customer provides the bills. Compensation will be provided in the form of services, not cash.

12. Article Inspection: – Customers are advised to inspect articles for missing items at the time of delivery. Claims for missing items will not be entertained after the delivery has been accepted and signed for by the customer.

13. Quality Warranty: – The Company provides a 7-day warranty from the date of delivery for articles, applicable to quality-related issues with washing or dry-cleaning, provided the article has not been used by the customer after the service. Quality-related claims made after this period will not be entertained.

14. Communication Preferences: – Customers may receive regular updates (calls/SMS/email/app notifications) from the Company for transactional and marketing purposes. To stop these updates, customers must request it through the Customer Care Department.

15. Ornaments/Jewelry: – The Company is not responsible for any ornaments or jewelry fittings on garments.

16. Damage Inspection: – Customers must examine articles for damage at the time of delivery and report any issues immediately. The Company will not be responsible for claims made after delivery.

17. Force Majeure: – The Company is not liable for any loss, damage, or delay due to FORCE MAJEURE conditions and will not provide compensation or reduce charges in such cases.

18. Unforeseen Events: – The Company accepts no liability for loss or damage to articles arising due to unforeseen events such as fire, burglary, etc.

19. Processing Delays: – Some processes/items may require additional time to process. No deductions or claims can be initiated against billed amounts due to delays.

20. Designer Wear: – Tariffs for designer wear will be determined on a case-by-case basis, depending on the complexity of the garment. This information will be communicated to the customer after examination by an expert at the processing center.

Payment Terms:

  • The company provides invoices via email only.
  • Express delivery incurs double charges.
  • Full payment is required upon successful delivery.
  • Retail orders must be paid in cash. Debit and credit cards are accepted with prior notification.
  • Prepaid plans can be paid in cash or by check, with activation only after check clearance.
  • Taxes are charged in addition to website rates.
  • Prepaid plans are valid only at the location where purchased.
  • Cashback is provided as services and added to the customer’s Paul Dry Cleaners account.

Cancellation / Refund Policy:

  • Extra payments for retail orders can be refunded upon customer request.
  • Balance in prepaid plans is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Cancellations are allowed before pickup with no charges.
  • Unprocessed article amounts will be refunded or added to prepaid balances if an article is denied for processing.
  • Customer-initiated cancellations must be made within 2 hours of pickup.
  • Orders cannot be canceled once processed.

Coupons & Discounts:

  • Coupons can only be applied through the Paul Dry Cleaners website.
  • Coupons cannot be applied after order placement.
  • Multiple discounts/coupons/offers cannot be combined.

Privacy Policy:

  • Customer personal information is not sold to third parties.
  • Third-party companies may be hired for administrative and communication services, and they will have access to customer information solely for these purposes.

Links To Other Sites:

  • The Company is not liable for damages arising from content on its website.

Distribution of Information:

  • Unauthorized distribution of website content is prohibited and subject to legal action.

Prohibited Uses of Site:

  • Impersonation or imitation of others is subject to legal action.

Content Permission & Restrictions:

  • Unauthorized use or distribution of website content is treated as infringement and subject to legal action. Third-party content publishing is prohibited.

Changes To the Agreement:

  • The information provided is subject to change without notice, and the Company is not liable for any resulting losses.

Jurisdiction:

  • All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
